Balikbayan boxes from Germany
A starting checklist for senders in Germany comparing pickup, parcel-to-warehouse arrangements and delivery to the Philippines.
Planning guide · no TulayBox service
TulayBox does not currently collect boxes in this country. Use this page to plan your shipment and compare the details a local operator should confirm.
Start with the collection address
Give the postcode, town, street, house number and recipient name displayed at the collection address. Ask whether you will hand the box to a local agent or send it using a separate domestic parcel label. Confirm the weight and size limits for both stages.
Compare the whole journey
Compare a euro-denominated total and retain the provider’s written payment instructions. Establish who handles the case if the domestic parcel is delivered but the international operator has not yet assigned a shipment reference.
Ask for the receiving address in the Philippines to be checked before accepting a price. The named destination region is a starting point; the municipality, barangay and access conditions determine the actual delivery job.
Keep one shipment record
Store the quote, booking confirmation, contents list and payment acknowledgment together. Give each box its own reference and keep any domestic collection number that precedes the international shipment. When an update arrives, record what happened, where and on which date.
Questions before handing over your box
Who is collecting it, and which company accepts responsibility? Where does the first receipt take effect? Which documents will be required, who will handle the export and import stages, and how will you reach the business if a milestone is missed? Get these answers while you still control the box.
Common questions
Can I book a TulayBox collection in Germany?

Does a collection receipt confirm departure?
No. It records a handover. Export-warehouse receipt, loading and departure are separate events that need their own confirmation.
