Get the address right

Confirm the province, municipality or city, barangay and postcode. Luzon covers destinations well beyond Metro Manila, so a regional label does not establish one price or delivery window.

For a rural property, add a useful landmark alongside the written address and check vehicle access. Ask whether the quote includes the final delivery to that specific barangay.

Ask what the quote includes

Request written confirmation that the final address is covered. If an onward transfer, depot handover or additional charge applies, it should be identified before the sender accepts the service. A regional price heading should not conceal a different endpoint.

Prepare the recipient

Keep the recipient informed using confirmed shipment updates. Ask them to keep their telephone number active and to tell the operator if access or availability changes. Avoid sharing tracking links publicly if they reveal names, addresses or private shipment records.

Record the final handover

Keep the delivery acknowledgment and box reference. If a box is visibly damaged, photograph its condition and describe what you can see rather than guessing the cause. Preserve the packaging and report missing or damaged contents through the responsible operator’s process.
